One, maybe two division champs from Carlisle!

Congratulations to the U12 girlsCarlisle Crush and their coaches Jake Whipple and John Kamerick! They have won their division with a 6-2-0 record. Johnston, was giving them a run as they split their two matches against each other, with Carlisle being their only loss of the season, and tying one other opponent. Johnston’s chance of winning the division was spoiled in their final match against WDM who ended up upsetting them, giving the division title to the Crush. Way to go!

As for the nail biter…we have another team up for the division championship title - the U12 girls team Krazy Kickers. The girls have played all of their games and finished with an impressive 6-1-1 record and currently lead their division. There is one opponent, however, that could potentially win the division: Northwest (H12T) still has two make-up games to be played. Northwest’s current record is 5-0-1, with the tie coming against the Kickers. They still have to play Winterest and Johnston on the road. Northwest beat both of these teams on their home field, but that’s no guarantee of a win: the Kickers barely beat Johnston 1-0, and Winterset was the only team to beat the Kickers this year. Northwest will need to lose both games for the Kickers to earn the division championship title.
